SÃO PAULO–Brazil’s trade surplus widened in March after exports jumped about 61% from the previous month, the economy ministry said Monday.
The country recorded a surplus of $10.96 billion in March, after a surplus of $2.84 billion in February. Brazilian exports increased to $33.06 billion last month, from $20.56 billion in February, while imports increased to $22.10 billion from $17.72 billion.
