Jeffery Benson, Young Nigerian serial entrepreneur who started from humble beginnings, is making a name for himself with his successful forex trading business. In a recent interview, Benson reflected on his journey and shared about his early challenges and business struggles.
Benson grew up in a family of 10 and attended school in Lagos for his secondary education. While he initially pursued law at Delta State University, he eventually dropped out to pursue freelancing opportunities online. He dabbled in various fields of freelancing, including photo and video editing, voice transcription, and more. Benson admitted to having never worked for anyone else and not knowing what a monthly paycheck was like.
Benson’s foray into forex trading started in 2017, and he launched his community-focused business shortly after. According to him, he aimed to teach others how to achieve financial freedom through forex trading and his passion quickly garnered attention from budding traders. By 2021, Benson’s business had grown, and he began offering his mentorship program through FIREPIPS Forex Academy.
However, Benson faced some early challenges as he worked to establish his business. A lack of capital and insufficient funds to trade meant he struggled with consistency in live trading. Benson also encountered issues with an unreliable power supply and laptop battery, making learning cumbersome and frustrating.
Despite the obstacles Benson faced, he persevered, and his forex trading business has since flourished. Today, he offers mentorship programs and other resources to aspiring traders, providing them with the tools they need to navigate the forex market successfully.
When asked about his motivations for starting his business, Benson said, “I just wanted to have a community where I genuinely teach people to be financially free the same way I have been able to accomplish mine.”
As Benson’s success story continues to unfold, he remains committed to helping others achieve the same level of financial freedom that he has attained.
