A prominent Houston oil broker accused of rape in Kentucky is set to be assigned a trial date in a case that’s putting one of the world’s largest commodity brokerages in the spotlight.
Javier Loya, a part owner of the Houston Texans football team and co-chief executive of OTC Global Holdings LP, will be assigned a criminal trial date at a March 12 hearing, according to a decision from Circuit Court Judge Ann Bailey Smith.
