For a 25-year-old woman seeking $250,000 in coverage, for example, the monthly premium could be $22 per month.
For a 60-year-old man seeking $1 million in coverage, the monthly premium could be $699 per month, or 31.8 times the price offered to the 25-year-old woman.
Another life insurance web broker, Policygenius, posts similar term life monthly premium tables, for applicants in the preferred health rate class.
For a 25-year-old woman seeking $250,000 in coverage, Policygenius shows a price of $16 per month.
For a 60-year man applying for $1 million in coverage, the monthly premium is $504.
The ratio of the Policygenius price for the 60-year-old to the price for the 25-year-old is 31.5 to 1.
The LifeQuote.com sample price for a 25-year-old woman with multiple sclerosis is 38% higher than the Policygenius price for a 25-year-old woman.
For a 60-year-old man with multiple sclerosis, the LifeQuote.com price is 39% higher than the Policygenius price.
